Spin

Camera: canon

In this image I was at the fair with my sister in King, North Carolina on the farris wheel at the very top and as we were about to go down I started taking pictures. I had a lot of different shots of this but I actually liked this one better. I like how the stream of lights are very bright and powerful.

Emotion

Camera: nikon d 100

For this image I was just walking around at the zoo and found a underwater area with birds swimming around. The area that these birds were in were pretty dark. I wanted to photograph them and when i realized that I did not have my camera set to the right setttings that it gave me this. So i tried a couple of things and when I was done I came out with a little swirl which is actually the little bird.

Bottle Caps

Camera: Nikon d 100

In this image I wanted to create a fine art piece. I really like how the black contrasts with all the other colors. I want to try to do something different eventually with these but for right now I am pretty hapy with how it turned out.

For this assignment I had to take a picture of a unique character. I used one soft box on the subject with reflectors behind him with two flash strobes on the background. I like the clean white background wich accents his arms and the apple.

Us and Them

Camera: Canon 20D
ISO: 100
F/: 18
Shutter: 200

For this image we had to show a process on how we shot things. The image itself shows many symbolisms as: the softness of the skin equals the birth of the world, the Ying Yang tatoo shows the peace in the world, the other tatoos shows how the world can be a violent place, the American flag shows everything in the world, the man looking down demonstrates how someone is watching us from above.

This is the process on how I shot this image.

Camera: D100
ISO: 100
F/5.6
Shutter: 1/350

For this image decided to shoo upclose with a soft focus in photoshop. I then took the eraser tool to unsoften the parts that i wanted just slight focus on. I shot this for a promo assignment and with all he typical flower shots I decided to try to shoot one just like everyone else.

Mixed Up

Camera: Canon 10D
ISO: 100
F/: 22

In this photograph I was shooting for fashion or should I say a new style. I wanted to do the whole fancy black dress with red converses. The shot actually turned out the way I wanted it with the colors and the contrast. My model was even patient with me as it took me around two hours to finish the shoot; but I guess you get something great when the both of you are shooting for hours and having fun.

ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/250
F/: 32
Light Source: Soft Box

This image was taken for a product shot in my lighting class. I actually like this shot except for the fact that i wish it was a little bit brighter or should i say popped more. I think that once I continue learning more stuff then I believe that I will go back and try to do this shot over to see if I have a better outcome. The word that I use to describe this image is refreashing. Hopefully everyone that looks at this will think the same thing.
